preserving the heritage of hand-made lace through analysis, education, practice, and demonstration
We are a 34-member guild in Albuquerque, New Mexico, established in 1994. We’re one of the 20 active guilds who participate in exhibition of fiber art at the Albuquerque Fiber Arts Fiesta and the biennial Spring Show presented by Albuquerque Fiber Arts Council. We meet once monthly to share our interest in lace and to exchange ideas. We hope one day you’ll come by to join in the fun. We aim to provide information about the art of lacemaking; to promote the highest standard of lacemaking within our community; and to encourage potential lacemakers to “save lace” for future generations.
Our pages try to provide you with a sampling of lace-making techniques, and a peek into our activities. We hope you find them interesting.
